Want to develop just an app
or the best possible product?

This is a simple but significant difference
that the product development team provides

What is the difference between creating
a product with or without a product development team?

When you want to develop a successful product, you need a specific approach and double-check of the research, vision, strategy, engaged team, user experience & development process.

What's the value of the product

development team in your project?

In product development we apply the Pareto principle - 80% of the time is spent on preparation, strategy and plan, so that the implementation of the product itself can take 20%.

The success of the entire product is our goal, so we check not only the technical aspects but first of all, the market fit. Our focus is on the user and the solutions he is interested in.

What our Partners appreciate the most in
working with our product development team

interdisciplinary team

a fresh look
of experienced experts

the product-market fit

business & marketing validation

user-centered project

The strongest value is a varied team. Who is involved
in the project besides YOU?
product owner
project manager,
UX/UI designers,
web & mobile developers,
independent consultants.

What is the process of working with the
product development team?

The work process and subsequent steps are very individual
for each project, but they can look like this:

1. Discovery Sessions

A few meetings to help us understand your ideas and product. We work on preliminary research and analyses.

2. Discovery Workshops

Several days of workshops, during which we develop the vision, goals, persons. We use design thinking, story maps, user flows

3. Deep research

We develop the product at a lower level, adjust it to the market and choose the best form for the product. We use calls, brainstormings.

4. Product plan

We prepare priorities in the construction of MVP, documentation, low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, technical architecture.

5. Software development

According to the plan, we create an architecture on which MVP and subsequent versions of the application will be based.

6. MVP testing

We analyze functionalities, check what users need. We decide what we are working on next.

VergeSense is a Bay Area-based startup creating sensors that gather information about office space utilization. It allows management to plan the space according to real company needs and save money on unused space.

VergeSense came to us with the problem with unintelligible dashboard and wanted us to redesign the platform. But we’re all for the holistic approach and we preferred to take a step back by asking a few product and business questions. That’s how we found out that the problem is not only in design and making things looks better.

Users needs
We asked ourselves who the users are, how much detail do they really need and what can make interacting with data fun.
Data
We chose sets of data that can give users both raw information and conclusions ready to be changed into actions that bring profit to the company. Then we chose the best way to present this data on charts.
VergeSense Score
We created a scoring system depending on type of space, standard deviation and discrepancy factor to come up with a formula that results in a number on a scale from 0 to 10. One number that accurately discerns all nuances of space utilization.
Design system
We came up with a design system based on scoring the items displayed. The factors for scoring were, for example, the importance of the item, the granularity and also the size. The system works for every space and every chart, keeping all pages consistent and easy to understand.
Physical-virtual
We knew that the structure of the platform should in a way reflect the structure of physical space. Except for physical rooms, divided by very real walls, all office spaces can also be divided or grouped by virtual zones that are used in a different way.
That’s how we helped to create a solution that is used in offices of the biggest corporations in the world. Check it out on vergesense.com
